About this one
A hollow wooden board weighs about the same as a foam one and lasts about three times longer. That is the whole argument. The frame is paulownia, cut into ribs and skinned, with cork rails so a bad turn dents the rail instead of splitting the deck.
It is glassed in bio-based epoxy, which is more expensive than polyester and slightly less clear. We accepted the trade because a board that yellows is easier to live with than a workshop that smells of styrene.
Every board is built to order, so it takes six weeks. You get an email when yours is on the bench, and another when it goes in the bag. Fin box is a standard single, so any 9 inch fin fits. The fin is not included, because most people already have one they prefer.
