About this one
Wax is paraffin, which is a petroleum by-product, and it ends up in the water. This one is beeswax and pine resin with a little coconut oil to keep it workable. It costs about twice as much per bar and it works.
It is slightly softer than the paraffin you are used to, so it goes on faster and wears a little faster too. Warm is for 17 to 22 degrees, cool for 12 to 17. Above 22 it drags, below 12 it crumbles, and no wax on the market fixes either of those.
Wrapped in paper, no plastic, because a wrapper that survives the wax is a wrapper that outlives you.
